When are you opening again for business?
We are preparing to reopen on Monday 8th June for private lessons. Please read our COVID19 policy and other documents on the Important Information section as we have strict criteria to adhere to in order to keep everyone safe.
What Should I Wear?
Jodhpurs or tracksuit bottoms (jeans and shorts are not permitted)
Boots or shoes with a small heel (½") or wellies (trainers are not permitted)
Can I borrow a Hat and Bodyprotector?
Yes, we have a large selection of riding hats and body protectors that meet the current safety standard.
Why do I need to fill in a rider registration form?
The registration form provides us with important information about your height, weight and riding abilty which we use to pair you with the right horse and lesson.
How young can you take children?
We can take children from the age of 4 for small group or individual lessons
How do I pay?
We ask you arrive before the lesson to pay and we accept both cash or card.
Can I watch my child ride?
Yes, we have a indoor viewing gallery or a number of benches around the school for viewing purposes.
What should I do if I need to cancel?
All lessons and treks are subject to prior booking and availability. 48 hours notice is required for cancellation. If less than 48 hours notice is given, but more than 24 hours notice is given, a £5.00 fee will be charged. If less than 24 hours notice is given, then the full fee will be chargeable.
What about safety?
All riders and their guests are advised that in the interests of safety, they must adhere to any notices within the school and must not pass into restricted areas without an appropriate member of the management team.
All riders are responsible for ensuring they are medically suitable to enter any activities. They are required to complete a registration card and advise staff of any specific medical requirements or needs. A qualified first aider is available on site.
Mill Farm Riding School reserve the right to refuse admission to the school for any rider or guest who failes to behave in an appropriate manner.
